Friendship Games began in 1985 and features over 40 Pilipinx American Student organizations from college campuses representing California, Nevada and Arizona that participate in a day of friendly but competitive picnic games, performances and to celebrate “S.P.U.F” – Spirit, Pride, Unity, and Friendship. Schools compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. The school that shows the most S.P.U.F is awarded an 8 foot tall trophy.
Come show off your talent at PCE’s first Open Mic of the year! It will be located in the same room we hold our weekly PCE Meetings. Adings: this is a great opportunity to impress and show your kuyate how much talent you possess! Kuyates: this is a great opportunity to potentially be awed by your ading’s talent and show yours off as well!
Performances don’t necessarily have to be of the singing variety. Feel free to express your creative side, whether it be through song, dance, spoken word, pep talks, puns… you name it! Don’t be shy!
Join PCE in it's annual Brown Carabao, another version of White Elephant. Bring a gift to get a gift! The ideas for gifts are unlimited and who knows you can get an awesome gift or give a gift that doesn't make sense! $20 maximum for a gift. Come with your families and Kuyates and enjoy one last event before the quarter is up. Hope to see you all there!

Here's another chance to practice the games and cheers we will be doing at Friendship Games! Come have fun as we go over games such as The Nasty, Alpine Green, Conveyor Belt, Up and Under, and Groundhog. We'll also be reviewing cheers we introduced at Luau as well as a few more!
CultureFest is an all day celebration of culture, food, performances, and community. This family friendly event is one that you do not want to miss! All of Cal Poly's cultural clubs and orgs come out and sell traditional food to share their culture with our Cal Poly community. Cultural clubs will be performing throughout the day to showcase their talent as well as our very own Ating Himig, Modern, and Kasayahan!
We'll be kicking off the event at Dexter Lawn where Social Events will be revealing... (drum roll please) THE FRIENDSHIP GAMES THEME!!!! GET HYPED!!!! You'll get to learn more about FGames, our cheers, and even learn the FGames Games from Sports!
Afterwards, we'll all caravan over to Grover Beach to social while we watch the sunset! Membership will be leading some activities and this will be a great opportunity to meet new people!
Our General Meeting will be taking place from 8-9 PM in the Business Silo and Speed Dating will be on the first floor of the PAC parking structure from 9-11 PM. You are not required to stay for the entire 3 hours but it's highly encouraged to go to both!
Speed Dating is an event where general members can experience all three of our performing groups (Ating Himig, Kasayahan, & Modern) as well as sports all at the same time.
All of our groups are non-audition, so don't be afraid to try something outside of your comfort zone. Who knows, maybe you'll discover a hidden talent or passion you never knew existed!
