There are no words to express how grateful I am to be able to call everyone in this club my family. Going into my third year on staff, it continues to amaze me how many talented individuals make up our body and how powerful our community can be when we come together. We end every meeting with Isang Bagsak, but I feel it in everything that we do. In all our events, in how we treat each other and support one another. PCE prides itself on upholding its values of inclusivity and family.

PCE is my home away from home. It’s where I’ve made the most memorable college experiences and where I’ve met so many amazing people. It has taught me so much and has helped made me grow as a person. It has taught me to appreciate my culture, family, and friends. Being apart of PCE teaches me something new everyday and I will forever be grateful for what it has given me.

Joining PCE was one of the greatest things that I could have ever done for myself! Since day one of joining, I have learned so much about my culture, my community, and myself. PCE has facilitated an environment that has allowed many students, like myself, a space to feel welcomed, safe, and included. The sense of community and family that the club encourages has helped me through so many tough times in my life, and I hope to do the same for current and future members!

After dedicating three of my years to this family, I’ve realized that PCE truly is my comfort, my happiness, and my passion. The support system that this club provides is an unbreakable net that always seems to catch me when I’m feeling down. The atmosphere created by of all of its members never fails to put a smile on my face. The love that I feel among everyone when we are all gathered is so strong that I can feel it from my head to my toes. I am so thankful for having found a place on this campus where I can be my energetic and weird self without feeling judged. I am also thankful for each and every person in this club who has helped build this home into the welcoming family that it is. From my first PCE interaction to my final isang bagsak, I know that each moment spent with this family is one well spent.
