How do I join PCE?

1. Get to know us better at upcoming events and meetings! We’d love to meet you!

Our general meetings are held every Wednesday at 8 PM in-person and on zoom! Come through to find out what we’ve been up to, and learn about upcoming events! View our Calendar here!

2. Stay connected with us!

Join our Discord server! Stop by to study, game, hang out, and get to know other PCE members online! Also, don’t be shy to reach out and say hi to any of our Executive Board and Staff!

Follow PCE’s Instagram (@pcecpslo), join our Facebook Group, and check out our other social media! This is our usual way of reminding members about upcoming events, and sharing announcements outside of our general meetings!

3. PCE Membership Form & Fee

To be a formally recognized PCE member, you must fill out the general membership form and pay a membership fee*!

Please indicate: Name, Year, New or Returning Member, Yearly or Quarterly Membership. Ex: Bianca Porciuncula, 3rd, Returning, Yearly Membership

*We understand that these may be tough times for folks, and we do not want money to be a reason why a member could not participate in any membership opportunity/benefit. Therefore, if you are in need of payment assistance, please reach out to our Treasurer, Bianca Porciuncula!

FAQs

Q. Do I have to be Filipino?

A. You do NOT have to be Filipino to be a part of our family (: Although many of our members are Filipino, we welcome anyone and everyone and invite you to share your culture! Our space is not only a space where we can share our Filipino pride and heritage, but also one where we can engage in cultural exchange and learn from one another’s different experiences as well.

Q. Is it too late to join?

A. Nope! Whether you’re a fresh WOWie, transfer student, or 5th year, it’s never too late to join at any time in the year! (However please keep close attention to announcements and deadlines as we only go through some of our programs, such as KAA, once every school year. You are still welcome to join in our events even if you were unable to participate in the KAA program!)

A. For the 2023-2024 school year, General Meetings are held in-person every Wednesday at 8:10 PM at Philips Hall (006-124)!
